My masters research was concentrated on a detailed sedimentologic and stratigraphic analysis of a ~ 30 - 35 km outcrop belt of the Frontier Formation in the northeast Bighorn Basin. This facilitated depositional environmental and sequence stratigraphic interpretations of the Frontier Formation interval. I also included subsurface wireline log data to correlate and map sandstone body geometries on a more regional scale, incorporating observations from the surface analysis.
