About Me

Background Info

I originally hail from Mineral Point, PA, located 20 minutes north of Johnstown, PA in the Allegheny Mountains of West-Central Pennsylvania (Red Dot on Map). Growing up in the mountains exposed me to a good deal of Geology, which is a big reason why I decided to study Geology.

Education

B.S. Geology (2009) University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, Magna Cum Laude
M.S. Geosciences (In Progress) University of Nebraska-Lincoln

Personal

Whenever I have free time, I like to play my Alto Sax, listen to music, read, and vegetate in front of the television (especially during football season). As for physical activities I enjoy mountain biking (except there are no surface mountains in Nebraska), hiking, and participating in various sports including football, baseball, and basketball.
