In my undergrad field research thesis, I reconstructed the paleoenvironment of the Corrie region of the Isle of Arran, using sedimentology and paleontology. For my lab thesis, I used palynology to determine the environmental affinities and age of deposition of the Alt Na Culie and Kintrawell formations.

I am currently researching the paleoenvironment of the Mesa Verde Formation of the Bighorn Basin in Montana. The research goal is to discover the environmental associations of the formation and how similar they are to corresponding outcrops in the area.
