My dissertation research is two-fold. First, I am studying the distribution and accumulation of sediments in Holocene delta systems around the world. This aspect of my research is based on an extensive review of literature from the past 10 – 15 years. The second part is field-based and will focus on developing a facies model for an asymmetric delta formed by down-drift lobe growth. I will characterize the distribution of lithofacies and trace fossils in an extensive exposure of the Ferron Sandstone (Turonian) of southeast Utah.

I am a part-time PhD student. I am employed by UNL's Conservation and Survey Division (Nebraska Geological Survey). Click here to view my profile on the School of Natural Resources website.
