At UNL, I have focused on characterizing the internal nature of Platte River channels as well as chronicling any changes in Platte River channel patterns that have occurred since the beginning of the 20 th century. Some of the tools techniques I have used to accomplish my studies include: ArcMap (a GIS program), Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), sediment core and borehole clipping description through the creation of graphic logs, wireline log interpretation, and Optically-Stimulated Luminescence (OSL) age dating.

Currently, I am a faculty member at Maple Woods Community College in Kansas City, MO.
